Village at Atlantic Shores – Phase I

Hallandale Beach, FL

With its proximity to Hallandale Beach’s legendary Mardi Gras Casino and Greyhound Racing venue, Village at Atlantic Shores is a welcome extension of that attraction for tourists and residents alike. In its final shape, the two-phased project will offer a dynamic cosmopolitan mix, featuring office space, shops, restaurants, landscaped social plazas, and a self-contained parking structure.

SRS worked closely with the client and the City of Hallandale Beach, fast-tracking Phase I development processes from site plan to construction documents, code compliance, and building permits for the Phase I two-story commercial/office building. Architectural design is sleek and clean-lined, with eco-friendly wood and concrete textures, and expansive glass panels affording views into the shops from streetside. Zoning requirements stipulate a portion of civic space for pedestrian activity. SRS amplified the space with an open-corridor, second-floor balcony and colonnade which overlook and shade a landscaped social plaza. There, visitors find benches and bike racks, café chairs and tables, and enticing glimpses into shops and restaurants.
