The firm has been acquiring some decades-old communities in Florida with the aim of major multi-million-dollar restoration and modernization to ensure longevity, safety, comfort, and sustainability for thousands of at-risk senior residents.
SRS, a long-time supporter of, and consultant for, many Jewish Federation-related projects, designs new apartment interiors, administers construction, and is responsible for exterior rehabilitation. Interior upgrades and updates feature new kitchens with stainless steel appliances, as well as new bathrooms, lighting, flooring, HVAC systems, and windows. Substantial site work is also ongoing to strengthen the endurance of these multi-story buildings, to refresh landscaping and exterior painting, making repairs and upgrading amenities, including communal spaces for residents’ recreational and cultural activities.
