Police Substation

Miramar, FL

The City of Miramar is a rapidly growing linear-shaped municipality, extending for several miles from east to west. As community development progressed toward the west, a police presence was required to meet the needs of this growing population. The 20,000 SF Miramar West District Police Substation is part of a municipal hub that includes the Sunset Lakes Community Center, Fire Station No. 100, and a community recreational facility. The substation includes a public reception area, community room, roll call room, administration spaces for the substation's leadership, traffic division, code enforcement, detectives bureau, staff lounge, SWAT storage, and eight-lane tactical firearms training range.
