Boca Raton Utilities

Boca Raton, FL

A modern approach is the key to the contemporary vocabulary of the new project. The two-story, 7,000 SF existing building will be transformed to an efficient and green solution embracing wellness and functionality. With both stairs and elevator, the building delivers welcoming reception areas for customers and visitors on the first floor, and accommodates safeguarded managerial activities on the second floor – such as staff training, administrative activities, and community education and emergency operations when needed.

Designed for collaborative purposes, spaces are subdivided with interior glass walls, whose transparency reflects the attitudinal tone of governance while allowing the light of day to augment electrical usage. Both floors include private offices for top administrative personnel. Floor 1 has training style configurations with large-screen TV and computer-ready installations, as well as multipurpose areas. Floor 2 features a conference room, casual meeting and multipurpose areas, as well as locker spaces for staff to support their service requirements. Roof connections alongside the building offer program linkage to plant infrastructure while interior décor comprises wall-wide photographic murals of Boca Raton’s unique scenes.
