Miami International Airport Terminal D and Satellite E

Miami, FL

Miami International Airport is the nation's third-busiest airport for international passengers. Offering more than 100 air carriers, MIA welcomes 70 percent of all internatonal visitors to Florida. It is also the top U.S. airport for international cargo and freight activity. As a major revenue-producer for Miami-Dade County and the state of Florida, MIA generates $33.7 billion annually. While continually improving services, accessibility, and logistical expansion, MIA is committed to sustainable practices as it moves into the future.

Selected by HMS Host for buildout of new guest refreshment areas and kiosks, SRS is responsible for "keeping all the parts moving." Starting with design and drawings and continuing through construction completion, SRS ensures that all subcontractor work is coordinated, on time, and on budget. Underway are three Starbucks locations (pre-security at Terminal D and Terminal J, and airside at Gate B50), Stella Artois kiosk, Concrete Beach kiosk, and Wynwood Warehouse (bar and bites). In addition to ongoing onsite assessment, SRS manages compliance with aviation authorities, and local, county, state and federal ordinances and codes.
