Michael's Chicago Style Red Hots

Fort Lauderdale, FL

Introduced in Highland Park, IL, the popular Michael's Red Hots was conceived as an iconic brand with a particular menu and distinctive architectural style. Featured in local and national television and for location shots in film, the restaurant chain has received numerous awards and media recognition. In addition to the challenge of converting a 1950s gas station to a Michael's style 1,149 SF restaurant, on Broward Boulevard in downtown Fort Lauderdale, we had to adapt and change out specific original features to meet South Florida building codes.
