Prominent Architectural Firm Adds New Partner; Changes Name

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – Architects Manuel Synalovski and Merrill Romanik, principals of Manuel Synalovski Associates, recently named a third partner, Jose Saye, to the firm.

"As a result of adding Jose to our executive team, we've renamed the firm Synalovski Romanik Saye," Synalovski said.

The Fort Lauderdale-based architectural practice, established in 1988, is well-known in South Florida for designing award-winning projects in both the public and private sectors, and throughout the state of Florida and in Texas, Illinois, Connecticut, and Puerto Rico.

Jose Saye joined the firm in 1999. Originally from Bogota, Colombia, he relocated to South Florida in 1998, with a background as architectural associate and construction manager in Colombia. He received his bachelor of architecture at Universidad de los Andes, Bogota, Colombia, and is a registered architect (Consejo Profesional Nacional de Ingenieria y Arquitectura). A skillful and bilingual communicator, Saye excels at project management and relationship building with clients, team members, and construction subcontractors.

Synalovski Romanik Saye (SRS) comprises a multilingual professional staff of 11, representing diverse cultures and backgrounds. Services include planning, architectural design, interior design, LEED administration, and construction management. Many of the firm's projects have qualified for and been certified as LEED Silver and Gold, designations awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council for excellent stewardship of the planet's environment. Recent award-winning projects include Lauderhill's Municipal Complex and the Dania Beach Paul DeMaio Branch Library. Current projects include renovation of Fort Lauderdale High School, expansion of Montessori Academy in Pembroke Pines, and Miramar Pineland Nature Center.
